Big Brother bosses are under fire for allowing Sam Faiers to hold a magazine interview in the house.
One of the core concepts of Big Brother is that the housemates are given no communication from the outside world for the duration of their stay, but it's an rule that's clearly becoming more and more lax.
This week Sam spoke to a journalist from OK! magazine - which shares the same parent company as Channel 5 - for an interview.
Speaking from inside the house, Sam told the publication about the first twist, her friendships with Ollie Locke and Linda Nolan, and her thoughts on ex fiance Joey Essex.
"I haven’t really missed Joey – I do secretly hope he’s watching," she said.
A spokesperson for Channel 5 confirmed that it had been agreed that Sam could speak to the magazine during her stay before the show had started.
The TOWIE star is the latest of celebs found to be 'breaking' the rules.
Last summer Sam's fellow cast member Mario Falcone was found to have exited the house for a trip to London to pick up a visa, while previous winner Rylan Clark repeatedly left the house for X Factor tour rehearsals.
An insider insisted at the time: "It was agreed before Rylan entered the Big Brother House that he would be allowed to rehearse for his tour twice on-site with a choreographer.
"This was agreed on the strict understanding that he was not allowed to discuss events in the Big Brother House with anyone during such rehearsal periods.
"Rylan was escorted by a Big Brother producer at all times during rehearsal to ensure full compliance."
A spokesperson for Channel 5 commented: "Rylan has rehearsed for his tour on site with a choreographer, escorted by a Big Brother producer."
And they said of Mario's exit: "He left the house for a few hours and was accompanied by a member of staff throughout and had no contact with members of the public."
