Celebrity Big Brother 2014 line up: Blue's Lee Ryan up for romance in the house!

Blue singer Lee Ryan has said he'd love to find a girlfriend in the Celebrity Big Brother 2014 house.

But the rumorued housemate said he wouldn't so much as snog anyone on the telly for fear of embarrassing his kids.

"I’d never snog anyone on live TV — my kids would be watching," he told The Sun newspaper. “I find that really distasteful. I couldn’t kiss anyone when I know my kids are sitting in front of the TV, going: ‘Hi, Daddy!’

“It’s more than public, isn’t it? It’s not like kissing in Sainsbury’s. It’s kissing in front of millions of people, with a microphone on so you can hear all the slobbering.

“But I am ready to find a girlfriend. I said that on Twitter the other day and suddenly I had 5,000 extra followers, saying: ‘I’ll be your girlfriend.’”

Lee also told the tabloid that he had been working out and following a diet ahead of Friday night's live launch.

He added: “I’ve been working out hard. I’ve been on this hardcore diet and I want to get really buff.

“I’ve been in this business for 14 years so I’ve been around the block a few times. I haven’t been a nun. But it would be nice to find someone to settle down with.”

And Lee insisted there would be no tension between him and fellow rumoured contestant Dappy after the pair clashed in the past.

He said: "I’m like an older brother to him. I’ll always look out for him. I’ve been with him before and had to say: ‘Calm down!’”

Other names set for this year's Celebrity Big Brother lineup include TOWIE's Sam Faiers, comedian Jim Davidson girlfriend of ex-England manager Sven-Göran Eriksson Nancy Dell’Olio, N-Dubz rapper Dappy and soap star Alan Fletcher.

They're all set to be joined by former heavyweight boxer Evander Holyfield, Made In Chelsea's Ollie Locke and American Z-lister model Jasmine Waltz.

CBB launches this Friday night on Channel 5 from 9PM with host Emma Willis.
