Celebrity Big Brother UK line up: N-Dubz Dappy hints he'll be taking part

N-Dubz star Dappy has hinted he could be set for the Celebrity Big Brother 2014 house.

The rapper has already been linked to the show and seemed to suggest to his fans the speculation could be true, with just a week to go to the live launch.

He tweeted yesterday: "All ur gonna see is Nothing but the Realness!!!!! Had enough of certain groups of the media painting me out 2 be some vile monster!! #Watch"

It was reported in The Sun newspaper earlier this month the singer has been forced into taking part in the series to help pay off a tax bill.

A source told the tabloid: “Dappy has been given a stark warning to pay off his tax bill but he needs cash fast.

“Celebrity Big Brother has come knocking and it’s been tough to say no.”

But Dappy seemed to at least deny the bankrupt part of the story, also tweeting: "WTF is all this bullshhhhhhh in the Paper!!!!!! I just got a quarter of a Mill!!!! Plus my New record deal is on Da Table!!! #FarFromB"

Regardless of the whys, if Dappy — real name Costadinos Contostavlos — does enter the house it could cause a bit of embarrassment, having previously claimed taking part in reality telly shows was the sign of a career having finished.

He said last year: “No way would I go on one of them, they’re the kiss of death.

“You go on I’m A Celeb or Celebrity Big Brother when your career is fading away. It’s a disgrace!”

Other names on the current rumoured Celebrity Big Brother line up includes model Katie Price, Apprentice star and This Morning big mouth Katie Hopkins and model India Reynolds.

More names set to the new series are said to be former Strictly star Nancy Dell’Olio, comedian Jim Davidson, TOIWE’s Sam Faiers and more recently, boxer Evander Holyfield and Neighbours actor Alan Fletcher.

Celebrity Big Brother 2014 starts on January 3 on Channel 5.
