Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Brown and Outkast rapper Big Boi have both reportedly pulled out of CBB.
The pair were linked to the Celebrity Big Brother 2013 line up earlier this year, with Bobbi reportedly getting the show's biggest fee of £300,000 to enter the house.
But the US pair have both suffered from cold feet and decided against doing the show, which launches in just a few days time on Thursday.
"Bobbi was seen as a major draw and it is a massive blow," a source revealed. “They knew there were guaranteed fireworks with her in the house and hoped they’d also get some revelations about Whitney.
“As far as they were concerned it was a done deal.
“But she did a massive U-turn and sent the bosses into a panic. They’d already lost Big Boi, so this was the last thing they needed."
The Sun today claims that producers have money to spend but still can't attract big names to the series.
“As it stands, they’ve got loads of money to spend, but they’re struggling to find anyone to give it to," the insider explained to the newspaper. “There’s talk they’ve actually been offering guarantees people can walk away and still keep their wage. But even that hasn’t worked.”
Names tipped for the CBB line up this summer are football pundit Ron Atkinson, Loose Women star Carol McGiffin and model Sophie Anderton, alongside Geordie Shore's Charlotte Crosby.
Other rumoured housemates include Pineapple Dance Studios star and former Dancing On Ice judge Louie Spence and Five singer Abz.
A spokesperson for Channel 5 commented: "We never comment on speculation and rumours about the line-up.”
Celebrity Big Brother 2013 starts on August 22 on Channel 5.
