Big Brother 2013: Hazel O’Sullivan insists she was "threatened" by Daley Ojuederie

Evicted BBUK housemate Hazel O’Sullivan has insisted she was "threatened" by Daley Ojuederie over the incident that saw him booted out of the house.

Hazel was voted out of the show on Friday, some weeks after Daley was ejected from his behaviour towards the Irish model.

Discussing the incident after her exit, Hazel stood by her comments in the Diary Room about feeling threatened, but admitted she didn't expect Daley to be kicked out of the house.

"There was a lot of drink involved," she said. “We were in the dark. I couldn’t see what was happening and I did feel threatened.

“When Big Brother stepped in Daley got a bit heated about being called out. The full picture hasn’t been shown."

Hazel added: “I was shocked to see him go and it was out of my hands. But I’m not going to question a decision made above my head. If they felt that was necessary you have to leave it with them.”

Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday today, Hazel explained why she continued to stay in the safe house with Daley despite claiming she had felt threatened by his actions.

“Big Brother asked if I wanted to leave the safe house," she said. “But I didn’t want the other housemates waking up and asking what had happened and it become a big explosion in the house. I wanted to make things as easy as possible.”

Meanwhile, Hazel declared she had no regrets over her time in the house, despite leaving to huge boos.

“I’d rather be remembered for being a more visible character,” she said. “I wouldn’t have done myself any justice if I’d faded into the background.”
