Ratings rebounded for Big Brother 2013 last night after a week of poor numbers.
Viewers dipped to lows of just over 1.3 million for the highlights on Wednesday night, but yesterday evening's first live eviction saw a relative surge.
The live show hosted by Emma Willis saw the first eviction of the series followed by the revealing of mole Michael Dylan to the housemates.
The 90 minute episode aired from 9PM and attracted an average audience of 1.83 million for Channel 5, including those who caught up on Channel 5+1 an hour later.
A peak audience of more than 2 million tuned for the results of what has been described as one of the closest evictions in the show's history.
It was one of the most watched evictions since the show has moved to Channel 5 and well up on last year's equivalent show.
