This year Big Brother 2013 will see us viewers voting to evict the housemates in a return to the usual format.
It meant that the housemates with the most votes stayed, while those with the least support went home.
The idea was to keep in the interesting and controversial wannabes and ditch the boring ones who no one cared about.
And it seemed to work, but producers have now revealed they've made a U-turn.
This year we'll be voting to evict a housemate once again, unless otherwise announced on the live shows.
As with last year, voting will take place using both premium rate phone numbers and mobile short codes, but Facebook voting will not be returning.
Also new this year will be a mid-week freeze of the votes.
On Wednesday, the lines will be frozen and the housemate with the fewest votes will be saved from eviction. The lines will then reopen for us to vote to evict the remaining housemates.
However, we all know that Big Brother can change the rules at any time...
