Big Brother 2013 house 'ripped down' and rebuilt for new series

The Big Brother 2013 house has been ripped down and rebuilt for the new series, it's been revealed.

The fourteenth run of the Channel 5 show launches next Thursday and with less than a week to go, we've still yet to see inside the new look house.

Previously Big Brother teased the house: "As the housemates enter they will be greeted by a huge wall containing recycled life-size front doors. But what do they signify – and what lies behind them?

“The sweeping staircase will take them down into an eco-style living space. Although impressive in appearance, this house is not a hotel and provides a tougher environment than ever before.”

According to new Bit On The Side host Rylan, who has already been to visit the new house, bosses ripped down the interior to start over from scratch.

He told the Wright Stuff last week: “I’ve been in the house, and it’s just completely different. I know we say it every year, it’s going to be like you’ve never seen before, but this year is totally different,”.

“Like, mine and Denise’s house was pretty much exactly the same, just the new decor, but they’ve started again. They’ve ripped it down and started again.”

He added: “The show’s not called Big Brother no more, it’s called Big Brother Secrets & Lies. There’s a lot planned, and like I say, it’s something that they’ve never ever done before.”

BBUK starts on Thursday night on Channel 5.
