Big Brother 2013 housemates won't include wannabes (apparently)

Big brother 2013 will have less focus on wannabes and more emphasis on becoming a social experiment once again.

Apparently, at least.

Big brother producers are reportedly planning to go back to basics with the latest series when it launches in the summer

It will be the fourteenth series on the reality show to air in there UK and It is long overdue a revamp.

A source said: “The show needs to change and that’s what we’re doing.

“We want to get back to the essence of what made it must-see telly.

“We’ve got some interesting people signed up this year — including some older folk."

Speaking to The Sun this week, the supposed insider added: “We don’t just want a bunch of fame-hungry youngsters who only want to show off.”

Changes already made to this year's series include promoting Emma Willis to the main show, replacing Brian Dowling.

Both Alice Levine and Jamie East have also left, while current Celebrity Big Brother champ Rylan Clark has been tipped to replace them on the spin-off series Bit On The Side.


Big Brother 2013 will air on Channel 5 in June.
