Big Brother 2013: Alice Levine unsure whether she'll be back

Alice Levine (Big Brother 2013)

Current Big Brother 2013 Bit On The Side host Alice Levine has admitted she's unsure whether or not she'll be back.

It follows Emma's appointments as the main show host replacing Brian Dowling.

The former MTV presenter has posted the Channel 5 spinoff alongside Emma and Jamie East since its move from Channel 4 in 2011.

Alice tweeted this week: "For those asking I don't know anything about @bbbots changes apart from the fact that @Emma_Willis will be sorely missed! Massive congrats!"

Frankly, we would miss sarcastic additions to the show and reckon she could make a good full time replacement for Emma.

Certainly better than Rylan, anyway.

Emma herself recently admitted that she was unaware of who will now host Bit On The Side, telling Loose Women this month that she could possibly front both shows herself.

Although she seemed nervous enough about hosting the main one, saying: “I can’t quite believe I’ve got it to be honest, because I’ve watched as a viewer from day one and seen Davina [McCall] do it so amazingly well and seen Brian fill her shoes so brilliantly, and then you’re the next one that’s got to step up and it’s like ‘oh my goodness, it’s all gonna go wrong’!”

Meanwhile, celebrity Big Brother winner and former X Factor finalist Rylan Clark has denied he is to be the new host. He told Star magazine this week: "There are a lot of rumours about Xtra Factor, Big Brother and my music plans going around at the moment, but I haven’t agreed to anything.

"I haven’t had a day off properly yet so I haven’t had time to sit and think about what I actually want to do. So I’ve got no idea.

“Don’t believe any of it until I say it.”

Big Brother 2013 airs on Channel 5 this summer.
