Big Brother 2013 producers have been scouting for wacky personalities to audition for the show this summer.

This year saw bosses ditch the usual open auditions for the first time in the show’s twelve year history.

Instead, those wishing to become housemates had to upload a video online to impress producers.

The lucky ones were invited to a secret callback in London at the weekend for fun and games as they were whittled down in a process to find just 16 housemates.

But some of those who tried out had been invited by researchers, such as the World's Oldest Page 3 model Annette Edwards.

She said: “It wasn’t something I had thought of doing. When the researcher rang I thought ‘why not?’”

Speaking to the Worcester News after her time at the callbacks at the weekend, Edwards continued: "You can expect me to get topless in the house. I’m looking forward to having some fun and controlling some of the situations.”

And she teased: “I’m very direct and I wouldn’t beat around the bush. I wouldn’t go behind people’s backs. They would get it straight from me.”

Big Brother 2013 airs on Channel 5 from June.
