Celebrity Big Brother 2013 runners up Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag have confessed they struggled to be bad in the house.
The US duo's bizarre game plan saw them try to wind up the other housemates and public in a bid to cause entertainment.
And it nearly worked, with the pair the penultimate housemates to leave the house.
And let's face it, Rylan won the show from the second he walked in.
Speaking after his exit last night, Spencer said: “They brought us in to be Speidi to stir it up. I feel like a cartoon character. My talent, for some odd reason, is being an a***hole.
“I can’t come all the way from America and be the good guy when that’s not what they cast me for. I had to be the bad guy."
He continued: “Since I was 20 years old I’ve been playing a character. I thought it was better to drop out of college and become a reality star.
“I’m just doing what they brought me from America to provide but it was hard to be the bad guy this season.
“It’s usually a lot easier on other shows and I’d say I’ve made acquaintances rather than friends in here.”
Heidi admitted that the show as a lot tougher than either she or Spence had expected.
She added: “I really loved everybody but when people started saying things about our marriage it was tough.
“But this was just a job for us. We never did this for ‘the experience’. Despite everything I want you to know there’s a place for each of you in my heart.”
