Last night's Celebrity Big Brother 2013 eviction was watched by a series high audience of 2.56 million viewers.
Snow kept the audience away leading to a much more lacklustre live show, with host Brian Dowling announcing the results from the inside studio.
But the snow also kept plenty of people inside and helped CBB to hit its highest viewing figures since the launch at the start of the month.
2.4 million tuned in to the hour long show between 9PM and 10PM, while a further 160,000 caught up on Channel 5+1.
A massive peak audience (for CBB) of 2.9 million tuned in to see Gillian Taylforth become the latest housemate to be kicked out.
But tough competition meant that the show still only came third in its timeslot.
Meanwhile, Channel 5's much promoted American Idol struggled with a simulcast on both 5* and Channel 5 at 10PM, with less than a million viewers tuning in to the second audition episode across both channels.
Celebrity Big Brother 2013 continues nightly on Channel 5.
Lines are now open to vote to win and they will freeze for the eviction during Wednesday night’s semi-final, with the final of this year’s Celebrity Big Brother on Friday 25th January.
