Jim Davidson has spoken out about Celebrity Big Brother 2013 for the first time since his arrest.
The comic was due to take part in the latest series which kicked off last week, but was pulled off the line up after being arrested as part of the Jimmy Savile sex abuse investigation.
The 59-year-old, who denies the allegations made against him from more than 20 years ago, was replaced by footballer Neil Razor Ruddock on Thursday's live launch show.
Yesterday it was claimed that the stand up could still be taking part, with a source telling the Daily Star: "Jim is still in shock but hasn’t done anything wrong and is determined to hold his head up high.”
They added: “He has vowed to clear his name.”
However now the Daily Star Sunday claims that those plans have been binned.
An insider said: “There was a last-minute hitch so plans to put him in this week fell down.”
Meanwhile, the telly host has confirmed that he was due to enter the show and admitted it was a "shame" he had missed it.
However he revealed he could be back for the summer series which will air on Channel 5 in August.
He told The Sun this morning: "Shame I missed it — maybe next time. It looks a fun show.”
