Celebrity Big Brother 2013 launched to over 4 million viewers last night according to overnight ratings.
It's the fourth series of the Celebrity show on Channel 5 in just two years, and was one of the highest figures for the channel.
An average audience of 3.4 million viewers tuned in between 9PM and 11PM for the marathon launch show, which saw celebs including X Factor's Rylan Clark and Steps singer Claire Richards enter the house.
A further 155,000 caught up on the show on Channel 5's +1 catchup service, bringing the total average to a strong 3.55 million.
It was the biggest launch since the show first moved to Channel 5, no doubt helped by the huge publicity surrounding rumoured housemate Jim Davidson's arrest the day before the launch.
The show peaked with over 4 million viewers as people tuned in to see the line up confirmed.
But with comic Jim, Lindsay Lohan and other big names not actually taking part, and unknowns like Lacey Banghard in the house, will the viewers stick around?
