Rockstar Meat Loaf is on the wish list of Celebrity Big Brother 2013 housemates, it's been claimed.
The singer is reportedly wanted by show bosses for the upcoming new series, which airs in January on Channel 5.
It'll be the third series in just twelve months, and producers are hoping to make sure they get as many big names in the house as possible.
The Daily Star reports that Meat Loaf - real name Michael Lee Aday - is expected to be "TV gold" is he can be persuaded to join the line up.
“He’s a huge name around the world so we’re desperate to get him in the house," a source told the newspaper. "We know fans would love to see him and he would be TV gold. We want this series to be the best yet.”
The 65-year-old has appeared on other reality shows in the past, but admitted to being "picky" about what programmes to take part in.
While the Bat Out Of Hell hitmaker took part in America's Celebrity Celebrity, he branded I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here as awful.
After getting an offer from ITV bosses to appear in the jungle, he revealed: "I said no. I am picky.”
Other celebs (sort of) linked ot the new series of Celebrity Big Brother include US reality star Heidi Montag Kate Middleton’s 'stripper' cousin Katrina Darling.
Celebrity Big Brother airs in the new year on Channel 5.
