Girls Aloud 'hold secret talks' about 2013 comeback

Girls Aloud are set be holding "secret meetings" over their comeback later this year.

According to the Sunday Mirror, all five girls met up for the first time in nearly two years last week.

“It was just like old times. There wasn’t any ‘bad air’ with Nadine and she apologised for not having been in touch," a soruce told the newspaper. "Nadine, Nicola and Sarah made it clear that if they were going to do this, they had to go for it.

"Kimberley was easy-going.

“They all got extremely excited about their plans and nearly all of them walked out on cloud nine.”

The girls are hoping to release a new album and plan an arena tour in 2013, marking the group's 10 year anniversary since they were put together on reality show Popstars: The Rivals.

But Cheryl Cole's busy schedule, which will see her release a third solo album later this year, could cause problems.

“Cheryl needs to see if she can make it happen from her end. She’s got a full-on schedule and the entire year was written out for her solo career," the source goes on. “It means her US plans may have to be toned down – or she records from there and isn’t in the same room.”
