Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole is set to team up with Calvin Harris and Will.i.am for her new single.
The former X Factor judge is preparing to make her big comeback, with a third album due for release later this year.
The Sunday Mirror reports that Cheryl is working with chart topper Calvin Harris on one track, which Cheryl's team want to launch "globally".
The song will also feature Will.i.am, who has been managing Cheryl for the past two years.
“It’s a huge track and something everybody is incredibly excited about. It’s made for the club scene and a dance classic," a source told the newspaper.
"They’re thinking about a global launch for her next time around and everyone behind the scenes is very excited indeed. Calvin’s been wanting to work with Cheryl for ages and he’s thrilled it has finally happened."
An insider added: "It also features Cheryl’s manager will.i.am on the track too.”
The news follows reports yesterday that Girls Aloud would be reuniting in 2013 for an arena tour, some 11 years after they were formed on Popstars: The Rivals.
