It was back to London this Saturday after last week’s Blackpool special and one more celebrity will be going this Sunday.

Shirley Ballas, Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse were the people with the paddles, and were watching each dance closely, ready to mark each performance out of ten.

Topping the scores this weekend (November 23) were a pair of Couple’s Choice routines.

Karim Zeroual’s Contemporary dance was branded “brilliant” by Bruno but Craig felt it was “lacking emotional content”, scoring a total of 38 points.

Kelvin Fletcher’s Street/Commercial dance had Craig saying he “absolutely loved it” – but it still wasn’t enough to see him giving a 10, with Kelvin matching Karim’s 38 points.

Motsi “absolutely adored” Chris Ramsey’s dramatic Paso Doble which scored him 31 points, a total he was more than happy with.

Emma Barton’s Quickstep had a few mistakes with Craig saying it “could have been an absolutely fantastic dance” but as it was the routine received 29 marks from the judges.

At the bottom end, Alex Scott and Saffron both had 26 points for their latest routines.

Alex performed the first Argentine Tango of the series but it was described as “heavy and flat footed” by Craig.

Craig also had problems with Saffron’s “sloppy footwork” as she danced the Samba, hoping to bounce back from last week’s dance off where it was Michelle Visage who left Strictly.

As always, the points from the judges’ will be combined with viewer votes to determine the bottom two in Sunday’s dance off.

Strictly Come Dancing returns on Sunday 24 November, 7.15pm with the latest results.

Sunday’s show will open with a special performance from world famous opera star Andrea Bocelli.

It will then be time to look back on Saturday’s show, as the judges’ scores and viewers’ votes are combined to reveal which of the six remaining couples are in the bottom two.

The two couples with the lowest scores must then dance for survival, as the judges decide who to save and who will leave the competition.
