The new-look show brings together stars from the worlds of music, film, sport, television and social media as they compete to win a life-changing recording contract.

One of the acts competing are a group made up of four former Love Islanders Zara McDermott, Eyal Booker, Wes Nelson and Samira Mighty.

Saturday night saw the contestants in the live shows confirmed with the Islanders making the cut.

Now they’ve unveiled a brand new name for their group: No Love Lost

The name was chosen after the Islanders asked for ideas from fans.

The official X Factor Twitter announced: “Sorry, the Love Islanders can’t come to the phone right now, because they’re now called @NoLoveLost! ? Much love to everyone who sent in name suggestions!”

Speaking about the series, Wes said: “I’m well excited. It’s mad. For the first week or two of rehearsals, I was so nervous. I couldn’t even hold a piece of paper, I was shaking so much. Now, after all the hard work we’ve put in, I have zero nerves whatsoever.”

Eyal added: I’m a little bit nervous, but I’m excited for us. It’s just a different experience. I used to watch this show, I’ve seen what goes on.

“So, to be a contestant in it is just a little bit of a pinch yourself moment. This morning, I was nervous. We hadn’t rehearsed in a few days, and now we’ve just come down from rehearsals and I’m excited again because I know what we’ve got.”

Samira said of making the live shows: “No one understands how much I want it and we want it. I would be absolutely gutted if we didn’t get through because we actually do have a talent.”
