The Circle 2019 results! Who won? Winner crowned in live final!

Who won The Circle 2019? The final results are in and here’s a full recap of tonight’s live show.

After three weeks, The Circle’s second series concluded this evening.

Up until now the contestants have been living alone, never meeting in person and only communicating via The Circle. From behind their screens, they could choose to hide certain things, change their identity entirely or simply be themselves.

Those left in The Circle for the final were Woody Cook (playing as himself), Georgina Aurelia Elliott (playing as herself), Tim Wilson (playing as himself), James Doran (playing as single mum Sammie) and Paddy Smyth (playing as himself).

In tonight’s final, it was Paddy Smyth who won The Circle 2019, winning a £70,000 prize.

Meanwhile, Tim won the viewers champion title, winning a £30,000 cash prize.

In the final, the five final players rated one another most to least popular. The most popular contestant won the game and £70,000 of the prize fund.

Meanwhile, viewers got the chance to vote for their favourite player to win £30,000 of the prize fund. Tim won the viewers vote.

Along with the results, tonight’s grand final also saw the remaining players meeting for the first time.

First to arrive at the table for a final dinner together was James – who had been playing the game as single mum Sammie throughout.

She first met up with Tim who had plenty of questions before Georgina joined the pair, reacting to James: “Who the hell are you?!”

They were then joined by Paddy ahead of Woody completing the final five line up face to face.

The Circle airs on Channel 4.
