Bad news for Strictly Come Dancing's David James

There's bad news for David James ahead of this week's Strictly Come Dancing live show.

The footballer is in danger of making his Strictly Come Dancing exit, according to the latest odds from bookmakers BoyleSports.

David has been saved twice in the dance off but he managed to avoid the bottom two last weekend.

However bookies reckon this could be last his week in the competition, making him the favourite to go.

Meanwhile, at the other end of the scoreboard, Kelvin Fletcher is the dancer to beat going before his week 5 Cha-Cha in Strictly Come Dancing as his prospects of winning the Glitterball trophy fell into odds-on.

The former Emmerdale actor is all the rage with Strictly punters this week after scoring 9s across the board last weekend and now he has closed into hot odds of 5/6 from 5/4 with BoyleSports having started the series out at 7/1.

That makes him the first contestant to go odds-on but a two horse race is emerging between Kelvin and CBBC presenter Karim Zeroual. He was the pick of the bunch with the judges last week, scoring 38 for his Tango and is the 3/1 second favourite as he prepares to Salsa to ‘Who let the dogs out?’ on Saturday.

It’s another soap favourite in ex-EasterEnder Emma Barton who holds out the best hope for the girls at 11/2 from 15/2, as she bids to woo judges and viewers alike this weekend with a Paso Doble to ‘Nothing Breaks Like a Heart.’

Lawrence Lyons, Spokesperson for BoyleSports said: “To have an odds-on favourite at this early stage shows just how popular Kelvin Fletcher is with our customers.

"We’re seeing the liabilities on him grow ever larger and therefore he’s our clear favourite at this stage to skip off with the top honours.”
