Kelvin Fletcher has become the odds-on favourite to triumph on Strictly Come Dancing 2019.

Saturday night saw the fourth round of live performances as the then 13 remaining celebs danced for the judges once more.

Kelvin Fletcher oozed masculinity according to one judge on Saturday night following his sensational rumba that has forced bookies BoyleSports to trim his odds into 5/6 from 5/4 for the Strictly Come Dancing honours.

Bruno Tonioli called the soap star’s hips “weapons of devastating effect” before he went on to score 36 points making him the clear favourite. Karim Zeroual is Kelvin’s nearest rival in the betting unchanged at 3/1 despite receiving the best score for week four with 38 points.

Emma Barton is best known to soap fans as loveable Honey Mitchell in EastEnders, but she has become a star on the dancefloor too. Emma scored a brilliant 35 points after the TV expert performed a Viennese waltz with her odds being cut into 11/2 from 15/2.

Former England footballer Alex Scott has drifted out to 28/1 from 16/1 after she performed a quickstep that resulted in the lowest score of the night with just 23 points.

Sarah Kinsella, spokesperson for BoyleSports said: “Kelvin Fletcher has really impressed the fans and the judges in this series of Strictly Come Dancing, and he is now 5/6 from 5/4.

"Despite Karim scoring higher than Kelvin, his odds are unchanged at 3/1, but Emma Barton has been trimmed into 11/2 from 15/2 and looks a dark horse”.
