For this week’s Strictly live show, Saffron and pro partner AJ Pritchard will be the latest pair to perform a Couple’s Choice dance.

They’ve chosen a Contemporary routine to Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion

And speaking on It Takes Two in the week, Saffron gave Zoe Ball an update from training.

“I am covered in bruises, yes, this is the first time we’ve done lifts together,” she said. “It is difficult and I’m in a lot of pain!”

AJ added: “It is worth it though, I think the beautiful thing about doing a Contemporary for Couples’ Choice is it allows us to tell a story.”

Saffron agreed: “I love the lifts, I feel five years old and I’m like ‘Can we just do the lifts again?'”

Meanwhile, the routine is set to be an emotional one with Saffron’s grandparents in the audience.

“The song is actually my nan’s favourite,” Saffron told The Argus newspaper. “It means so much to her and she loves the lyrics.

“It’s like a milestone for our family really, it was played as my mum’s wedding song and at my grandparents anniversary party.”

Strictly Come Dancing 2019 is back tonight (Saturday, October 12) at 6:40PM on BBC One.

Other routines this week will include current scoreboard leaders Kelvin and Oti dancing the Rumba to Ain’t No Sunshine by Bill Withers.

Meanwhile, after two weeks running in the dance off, David James will be hoping to up his marks.

The former England goalkeeper and pro partner Nadiya will dance the Quickstep to From Now On by Hugh Jackman from The Greatest Showman.
