The pro dancer is performing with Radio 1 DJ Dev Griffin on this year’s series.

For this weekend’s Movie themed special, Dev and Dianne will dance the Couples’ Choice to Friend Like Me by Will Smith from Aladdin.

However it was reported that a tumble in training earlier this week saw Dianne taken to hospital.

A source had told The Sun newspaper: “Dev let her slip from his grasp and Dianne fell and landed on her head. It couldn’t have been worse.”

After a check up, Dianne was sent home by medics and took to social media today to insist she was “fine” and would be dancing tonight.

She wrote on Twitter: “morning everybody thank you for all the lovely msgs of concern . We had an accident key word being accident it was not devs fault at all these things happen .

Last weekend saw Dianne and Dev place a respectable fourth on the leaderboard of the fifteen celebrities after scoring 27 points for their jive.

Strictly Come Dancing 2019 continues Saturday night on BBC One from 7:10PM.
