The Circle 2019 has unveiled it’s biggest twist yet as viewers got to make a big decision.

Fresh from the exit of Katie / Jay in the latest blocking last week, tonight saw a live episode hosted by Emma Willis.

The Circle is the reality game show for the social media age, with a £100,000 prize up for grabs. In a game where anyone can be anyone, players all live in the same building but reside in completely separate apartments never meeting. Instead, they communicate only using a specially-designed voice automated social media platform as they compete to be crowned the most popular.

In last Friday’s episode, the players rated one another and the bottom two players were left at risk of elimination…

The Circle ratings

1st. Woody Cook – INFLUENCER
2nd. Ella May – INFLUENCER

3rd. Tim Wilson
4th. Brooke Odunbaku
5th. Georgina Aurelia Elliott
6th. James Doran (aka “Sammie”)
7th. Beth Dunlavey – AT RISK
8th. Jack Quirk – AT RISK

As the least popular players, Beth and Jack found themselves in danger.

But this time it wasn’t the influencers – the most popular players – deciding who went as Beth and Jack were immediately blocked.

However last Friday’s live show saw host Emma Willis reveal a devilish twist that allowed viewers to change the course of the game.

Via an app vote, viewers were given the option of keeping both Beth and Jack in The Circle but have them pair up as a new player, 62-year-old ‘Joyce’.

In tonight’s episode (Sunday, October 6), it was revealed the viewers had decided to keep the pair in the game as the new player.

Moments after leaving the game, they returned to a brand new apartment that they’ll now share as ‘Joyce’.

“I’ve not really lived with a girl before,” Jack admitted as he and Beth moved in together.

‘Joyce’ will be introduced to The Circle on Monday night.
