Strictly’s Anton Du Beke and Emma Barton reveals plans for epic Foxtrot

Anton Du Beke has promised the best Foxtrot Strictly Come Dancing has ever seen.

The pro dancer is partnered with actress Emma Barton on this year’s series.

In the opening episode last week they scored 23 points for their Jive to place middle of the table.

This weekend Emma and Anton will Foxtrot to Sunshine of Your Love by Ella Fitzgerald, Ernie Heckscher Big Band and Tommy Flanagan

Emma said on It Takes Two: “It’s his favourite dance so no pressure! but it’s wonderful to be in hold with this man. The king of ballroom!

“I feel safe because he looks after me, he’s kind and we just laugh all the time. I’m surprised we’re getting so much done. I’m really, really looking forward to this week.”

Anton revealed of their Foxtrot plans: “We’re going to mix it up a little bit. We’re going to go pure. Pure foxtrot. We’re going to foxtrot the… it’s going to be a pure foxtrot. Even I’m getting emotional.

“We’re going to give them a foxtrot that makes them go ‘Now that’s a Foxtrot’ It’s going to be beautiful.”

Strictly Come Dancing 2019 is back on TV live this Saturday night at 6:40PM on BBC One with the latest performances.

The first results show of 2019 airs on Sunday night from 7:15PM.

With the marks from week one carried over, the two couples with the lowest combined judges’ scores and viewer votes will take part in the first dance-off of the series.

The judges must then decide who stays and which couple will be the first to say their goodbyes with head judge Shirley Ballas having the casting vote.

There will also be a special musical performance from Lewis Capaldi, performing his number one bestselling single, Someone You Loved.
