Here are the Strictly Come Dancing 2019 pairings as it’s revealed who are the celebrity and pro couples.

This year we’ve fourteen celebrity contestants and eighteen pro dancers.

2019 welcomes new pro dancer Nancy Xu while we say goodbye to Pasha Kovalev who announced his departure previously after 8 years.

Making up the male pros for 2019 are AJ Pritchard, Aljaž Škorjanec, Anton Du Beke, Giovanni Pernice, Gorka Marquez, Graziano Di Prima, Johannes Radebe, Kevin Clifton and Neil Jones.

Alongside new pro Nancy, the female dancers are Amy Dowden, Dianne Buswell, Janette Manrara, Karen Clifton, Katya Jones, Luba Mushtuk, Nadiya Bychkova and Oti Mabuse.

Graziano, Gorka and Nancy will not get a celeb partner. The rest of the pros have been partnered with a celebrity and the couples were revealed in this week’s launch show.

Kelvin Fletcher and Oti Mabuse*

* Oti was originally paired with Made In Chelsea star Jamie, who had to withdraw from the competition due to an injury. Kelvin Fletcher joined the cast to replace Jamie and will dance with Oti.

Strictly Come Dancing aired its red carpet launch tonight on BBC One ahead of the first live show at the end of the month.

The pro and celeb couples will now head into two weeks of intense rehearsals ahead of their debut live routine.

As well as the pairings, the Strictly launch show saw a spectacular red carpet event as the Strictly family danced to a medley of Kylie Minogue’s greatest hits performed by the princess of pop herself.

Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One on Saturday, September 21 for the opening live show.

There will be no elimination as usual but the marks from the judges will carry over to the next week where the first celeb will be sent home.
