The Strictly Come Dancing 2019 line up has been revealed in full - here are the ones to watch.
Over the past few weeks, the BBC has confirmed fifteen Strictly Come Dancing 2019 contestants.
Ahead of the launch, former footballer and sports presenter Alex Scott has become the very early favourite for this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.
Bookies BoyleSports make the former Arsenal Women’s captain 5/1 to dance her way to victory as she swaps her football boots for some dancing shoes.
Scott is a popular choice with punters having made 140 appearances for the England Womens’ national team and appeared as a pundit during the 2019 FIFA World Cup as well as securing a Super Sunday spot on Sky Sports making her the first female pundit on the channel.
She also won the Bear Grylls’ ITV show Mission Survive but her latest venture sees her enter into the world of dancing. She is also a huge Beyonce fan and hopes she can dance to one of her tunes on the show.
Ex-Coronation Street actress Catherine Tyldesley is the second favourite to win at 6/1 and the blonde bombshell looks like she could have what it takes to win Strictly Come Dancing. The 35-year old has appeared on Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, Shameless and Lillies.
Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing is dusting off his dancing shoes to take part in the show but will still be recording as usual. He is related to the creator of McVitie’s biscuits, Sir Alexander Grant and is 10/1 to win.
Another famous face among the impressive list of fifteen celebrities is EastEnders star, Emma Barton, who has dancing experience starring in the UK productions of Chicago. Emma is 8/1 alongside Karim Zeroual who has appeared in the West End production of The Lion King and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the London Palladium.
Sarah Kinsella, spokesperson for BoyleSports said: “Stacey Dooley was a popular winner last year when winning the 16th series of Strictly Come Dancing, resulting in a large pay out for us.
"This year the list of celebs is very high with Alex Scott taking an early lead at 5/1. Jamie Laing could be a dark horse at 10/1 as he is very popular from the hit TV reality show Made In Chelsea. Strictly Come Dancing hits our TV screens next month”.
