Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions will air on ITV from this Saturday night at 8PM.

The special season will feature acts from the past 13 series of Britain’s Got Talent returning to the stage, competing to be crowned the ultimate champion.

They’ll compete head to head with not only one another but also against other acts from Got Talent shows from the world.

One act that is set for a return is singer Connie Talbot.

The singer wowed us all more than a decade ago now when she was an adorable six year old.

Auditioning for judges including Simon Cowell during the first ever series of BGT, Connie gave a stronger performance than many of those older and more experience have failed to match even to this day.

Simon told Connie she was “fantastic” after reducing Amanda Holden to tears with a cover of Over The Rainbow.

Now 18, Connie is lined up for the Champions series.

Co-host Dec said: “Connie Talbot, the last time we saw her she was this little diddy thing with no teeth and now she’s a beautiful young lady, it’s amazing to see them again after all these years.”

Following BGT, Connie released a number of albums after signing a record deal.

Other acts who have signed up include Series 1 champ Paul Potts, Stavros Flatley and 2012 Britain’s Got Talent winner Ashleigh Butler. Ashleigh secured victory as dog act Ashleigh and Pudsey, the first animal act to win BGT. Following the Pudsey’s sad passing two years ago, she now performs with new dog, Sully.

George Sampson, who won the second series in 2008, together with comedians Daliso Chaponda, Jack Carroll and Lost Voice Guy will also all be back.

Joining them in the competition are 2014 winners Collabro and former golden buzzer acts Merseygirls and Boogie Storm.
