Yet another shock exit looms as what will be the sixth contestant in a week goes.

In a text received by the Islanders this evening, it’s announced that there will be a new recoupling.

This time the girls will have the power, each picking the boy they want to couple up with.

The one boy not chosen will be dumped from the villa.

Right now the official couples are Anton Danyluk & Belle Hassan, Tommy Fury & Molly-Mae Hague, Maura Higgins & Marvin Brooks, Anna Vakili & boy Ovie Soko and Michael Griffiths & Joanna Chimonides.

Amber Gill and Jordan Hames are currently officially single, as is Curtis Pritchard after Amy Hart quit the show this week, as well as new Islanders Chris Taylor and Francesca Allen.

Amy’s exit followed a double elimination of two couples following a public vote.

Viewers voted and the least favourite couple with fans – Danny Williams & Jourdan Riane – were immediately dumped from the villa.

The next two couples in danger were Lucie Donlan & George Rains and Curtis & Amy.

The other Islanders had to decide who to save and it was Lucie & George who were eliminated.

But just a day later, Amy decided to quit the villa.

Her exit was followed by two brand newbies joining, Chris and Francesca.

Francesca is a 23-year-old clothing store manager from Essex and Chris is a 28-year-old business development manager from Leicester.

In last night’s show they each had the chance to date two of the other islanders.

Francesca picked Curtis and Ovie while Chris picked Maura and Belle.

But will either of the matches spark a romance?
