Dumped Love Island 2019 star Yewande Biala claims new couple Danny Williams and Arabella Chi are "not going to work" together.
The ITV2 show's latest love triangle came to a dramatic climax in tonight's recoupling, when Danny had to pick between his two potential partners.
The professional model was involved with Yewande, but felt their relationship was going nowhere.
He told her: "I feel like I’m putting a lot of the effort in and I’m not getting anything back."
New girl Arabella managed to turn his head after they enjoyed a successful date. Meanwhile, Yewande contemplated quitting the show, finding it hard being "in competition with someone else".
When decision time came, Danny indeed moved on with Arabella - and odd girl out Yewande was dumped from the island.
Now, in her first interview since leaving the villa, Yewande has predicted the new couple won't last long.
The Irish beauty claimed that Arabella set her sights on Danny the moment she arrived last week.
"A bombshell coming in, it’s very hard and it’s difficult to know their intentions," she commented.
"I hate it when a bombshell comes in saying ‘I want to get to know everyone’, because that is a lie. You know who you’re going for. She knew she wanted Danny."
Yewande reckons their spark will fizzle out quicky due to the seven-year age gap between them.
"I feel like if he does get to know her, it’s not going to work," she continued. "There are so many factors – they’re so different, and the age gap.
"You have to be realistic. He’s just starting his life – he’s only 21. They are in two different phases of their lives. In the villa, it’s very easy to forget."
However, the scientist has no regrets coupling with Danny - and says she'd still pursue him if she could relive her Love Island journey.
"Danny was the only person that I had a connection with in the villa," she said. "At that time I couldn’t see myself with anybody else."
Danny and Arabella may not have much time to get comfortable, as their relationship could face the ultimate test very soon.
Reports suggest that the dastardly Casa Amor will reopen its doors this week in a huge twist.
Love Island continues every night at 9.00pm on ITV2.
