13-year-old Charley’s take on a Lauryn Hill hit was a stand out from The Voice Kids auditions this week.
Will.i.am, Pixie Lott and Danny Jones return to sit in the spinning red chairs for series 3 this summer – together with new coach Jessie J.
This week (June 8) saw blind auditions begin for the brand new season.
One of the youngsters winning over the coaches on Saturday was 13-year-old Charley from South Wales who performed Ex-Factor by Lauryn Hill.

Charley’s performance got turns from Jessie, Will and Danny.
“You were awesome,” Will told the young singer.
“I’d love you to be on my team and share with you what I’ve learned over the years,” added Jessie.
Charley decided to join Team Jessie.
The Voice Kids is open to talented young soloists and duos between the ages of seven and 14.
Presented by Emma Willis, up for grabs for the winner is a £30,000 bursary towards their musical education plus a dream family holiday to Orlando.
Viewers will crown the winner of The Voice Kids in a live final later this year.
