This year sees Jessie J join The Voice Kids for its third series.

She sits in the spinning chairs with Will.i.am, Pixie Lott and Danny Jones and this weekend (Saturday, 8 June) saw blind auditions begin for the brand new season.

One of the first acts to impress the new panel was 13-year-old Liam from Birmingham who performed Lean On Me by Bill Withers.

With each coach doing their best to persuade Liam to pick them, Jessie, Will, Pixie and Danny turned to song to make their pitch.

Helped out by The Voice’s live band, the group sang their reasons Liam should join their team.

Eventually, Liam chose to join Team Pixie.

Once more hosted by Emma Willis, The Voice Kids is open to talented young soloists between the ages of seven and 14.

Up for grabs for the winner is a £30,000 bursary towards their musical education plus a dream family holiday to Orlando.

The public will ultimately crown the winner of The Voice Kids in a live final later this year.

The Voice Kids’ blind auditions return next Saturday night on ITV.
