This week's first recoupling saw new guy Tommy choose Lucie to couple up with, leaving Joe single.
After the recoupling, Tommy and Lucie were sent out for a date.
"I wanted to go with my heart. I wanted to couple up with you because I believe something was there," Tommy told Lucie on the date. "I don’t know what it is. I get butterflies when I see you.”
Moved by Tommy’s admission, Lucie reacted: “That’s so good. You’re good at the words.”
She then asked “If two girls walked in tomorrow, what would you think?”
Reaffirming his feelings for Lucie, Tommy replied: “If two Beyoncés and three Rihannas walked in tomorrow, my head wouldn’t be turned.”
Lucie reacted: “You’re saying some good things now.”
The next day Lucie realised she was keen to develop her relationship with Joe further, but also felt she should give Tommy a chance.
On the terrace, Amy Hart offered Lucie some advice on her dilemma. She said “I think you’re shutting yourself off too early. It’s day three.”
Tommy continued making a play for Lucie but understood her predicament. He said “I think you’re too nice of a person to upset anybody. You don’t want to upset me and don’t want to upset Joe.”
But what is Lucie’s heart telling her and will she make a decision on which boy to progress things with?
The next day as Tommy grew worried about Lucie’s loyalty to Joe, he tried to secure his place in the villa by also speaking to Amber Gill by the pool.
Tommy told her: “I went on that date last night and it was a good date but I feel like I woke up this morning and you can’t put all your eggs in one basket. I know you’re a straight up girl so what I want to know is…would you be open to getting to know me?”
Amber replied: "I’m getting to know everyone. I’m not putting my eggs in one basket!”
Meanwhile, Lucie spoke with Joe about her date with Tommy.
But Lucie said: “I just want to go to sleep” as she escaped all the drama by spending the night on the sofa.
