Britain’s Got Talent’s Jonathan Goodwin buried alive in live final performance

Tonight’s Britain’s Got Talent live final saw Jonathan Goodwin bury himself alive.

Stuntman and magician Jonathan shocked the judges as he was chained up and covered in gravel.

Jonathan was locked up in a plastic box dangling above the stage.

The box was then filled with a tonne of gravel as he attempted to escape from his chains and dig his way out.

The tense live performance left the judges stunned but fortunately Jonathan managed to succeed in his breakout.

Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, Simon Cowell and David Walliams were full of praise for the performance ahead of the public vote.

As were viewers, with one tweeting: “Omg. So intense. But brilliant.”

Hosted by Ant and Dec, Sunday’s thrilling finale sees 11 acts – including the wildcard – take to the stage, each battling it out to win the top prize – £250,000 and a spot on the bill of the Royal Variety Performance 2019.

Alongside Jonathan, the acts in the final are magic dog act Dave and Finn, the singing and dancing kids of Flakefleet Primary School, magic group 4MG, comedy singer Siobhan Phillips, singer Colin Thackery, comedian Kojo Anim, magician Ben Hart, singer Mark McMullan, masked magician X.

Joining them are 2019’s Britain’s Got Talent wildcard.

After a tense deliberation between the judges, it was decided dancers Libby and Charlie will join this year’s finalists in the live grand final.

Singer Colin is currently the favourite with bookmakers to triumph.

On the night, it will be down to the public to decide who is crowned the winner.

Also taking to the stage will be former winners Diversity who will present a fantastic new high-energy dance performance and superstar singer Susan Boyle, who will duet with Michael Ball on A Million Dreams.
