But how did they do it?!

Tonight saw the latest round of BGT auditions as try outs for the new series continued.

Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Simon Cowell were back on the panel with Ant and Dec watching on from the sidelines.

One of the contestants hoping to win over the judges were Angels Inc.

Coming from the Netherlands, the group said they wanted to take their act international.

They performed a mix of magic and dance to songs including Little Mix’s Power and Beyonce’s Run the World (Girls).

During the performance the original trio became a group of 15 performers through a series of tricks.

“You’re the Pussycat Dolls of magic,” quipped David.

“It’s so lovely to see a big group of girls killing it on stage, it makes me feel proud to be a woman. It was a breath of fresh air” added Alesha.

“You feel like a force of good,” added Amanda.

Simon said: “Normally on a magic act, it’s mainly guys with a girl pulling a rabbit out of the hat and that is boring. I think what this show is about is finding a star and I think you have that potential.”

As always, acts needed three or more yeses to get through to the next round, and potentially make the live shows.

Other contestants that impressed this week included 28-year-old singer Rob King from Manchester who performed a Eurovision hit Rise Like A Phoenix and 23-year-old Mark McMullan from Northern Ireland who belted out Les Misérables’ classic Bring Him Home.

25-year-old variety performer Jay Rawlings set a brand new world record for his audition while 34-year-old comedy magician Graeme Mathews impressed with a routine that saw Amanda up on stage involved in his act.

Rounding off the auditions were dance group Iconic, made up of kids aged 7 to 11 who performed to a medley of hits by artists ranging from Madonna to BGT’s own Ant and Dec.

Britain’s Got Talent 2019 continues next Saturday night on ITV with the latest auditions.
