Channel 5 has reportedly commissioned Celebs On The Farm for a second series.

Originally airing last year on 5Star, Celebs On The Farm saw famous faces sign up to be put through their paces by farmer Chris Jeffery.

Those who took part included TOWIE stars Bobby Norris and Megan McKenna, dancer Louie Spence and Gogglebox's Sandi Bogle.

Also in the first series were Olympic Judo athlete Ashley McKenzie, former Strictly pro Gleb Savchenko, actress Lorraine Chase and Ex on the Beach star Charlotte Dawson.

Now a second run is in the works, reports The Sun newspaper.

“Producers have really gone all out to secure some very exciting celebs,” a source told the tabloid, claiming series two would be "bigger and better". “Some aren’t going to know what hit them when they have to do a few of the challenges.

"The series is definitely going to be bigger and better than last year for sure.”

Hosted by Stephen Bailey, the first series saw celebs having to take on a series of farming challenges from herding sheep to mucking out stables and dealing with chickens.

At the end of each day, one celebrity contestant was named the 'Best in Show' but from the fourth day, one was sacked daily and told to go home.

Come the end of the series, Gleb Savchenko was named the winner of Celebs On The Farm 2018.

The first series was filmed on Lunsford Farm in East Sussex but it's not been confirmed if the show will return there for series 2.

Celebs Go Dating's first series is currently available to watch online via Channel 5's My5 catch up service.
