Dancing On Ice's latest live show saw an average audience of 5 million viewers.

The remaining seven celebrities skated live for the sixth time in Dancing On Ice's seventh episode of 2019 last night (Sunday, February 18).

Following each of the celeb's latest live performances, it was soap star Jane Danson and cricketer Ryan Sidebottom who were voted off Dancing On Ice 2019 after a three-way skate off against Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton.

In the skate off, judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Jason Gardiner and Ashley Banjo decided who to save after all three of the couples skated again.

Jason, Ashley and Chris all saved Melody, leaving both Jane and Ryan to go home. Although her casting vote was not needed, head judge for the week Jayne also saved Melody.

The skating and results between 6PM and 8PM averaged 5 million viewers on ITV, according to overnight figures.

The number is down around 500,000 viewers on last week's episode, where Gemma Collins was eliminated.

Dancing On Ice continues next Sunday night with its Quarter Finals where the celebrities will be competing in a new 'Time Tunnel' twist. Plus, as well as facing their next Judges’ Challenge, they’ll also compete in a special group performance.

After Dancing On Ice, Endeavour returned to ITV for its brand new series with an average audience of 4.5 million viewers, also half a million viewers down week-on-week.

Elsewhere on Sunday, in the 9PM hour, new BBC One drama Baptiste premiered to 4.5 million viewers. The new thrilling six-part drama from the creators of The Missing, stars Tchéky Karyo as the insightful but stubborn investigator Julien Baptiste.

Meanwhile, at the same time, new Channel 4 spy drama Traitors started with a million viewers.
