Strictly Come Dancing professional Gorka Marquez has been forced to pull out of ITV’s The All New Monty strip show.

The new series is set to see groups of men and women bare all in a revealing dance routine to raise awareness of cancers in intimate areas of the body.

Strictly pro dancer Gorka was one of the men to sign up for the cause, but has injured his back during rehearsals.

Instead, Dancing On Ice pro skater Matt Evers will take his place, The Sun reports.

A source told the newspaper of Gorka’s unexpected departure from the line up: “He has aggravated a back injury and has had to pull out.

“He’ll still be in the show but won’t be in the final performance. Matt Evers has stepped in to be his replacement.”

Matt was recently voted out off Dancing On Ice with his celebrity partner Gemma Collins.

He will be joined on the line up of male celebs by Love Island winner Jack Fincham, Emmerdale’s Kelvin Fletcher, King of the Jungle Joe Pasquale, snooker legend Willie Thorne, Crimewatch’s Rav Wilding and footballer Jason Cundy

Meanwhile the ladies cast is made up of legendary tennis icon Martina Navratilova, EastEnders star Laurie Brett, Love Island’s Megan Barton-Hanson, So Solid Crew’s Lisa Maffia, TOWIE’s Danielle Armstrong, and Benidorm’s Crissy Rock.

Back for a third year, the fresh set of male and female stars will learn whole new super-sized routines from scratch, before revealing all to the nation in two 90-minute specials to demonstrate the importance of shedding body inhibitions and making checks in intimate areas to prevent cancer.

Ashley Banjo and Alexander Armstrong will lead the men while Victoria Derbyshire and Coleen Nolan will take charge of the women.

The All New Monty 2019: Who Bares Wins will air in two, 90 minute specials on ITV later this year.
