Gemma Collins took a nasty fall live in tonight's Dancing On Ice 2019.

In last week's musicals special, Gemma performed to Diamonds Are A Girl's best Friend from Gentleman Prefer Blondes.

The routine was panned by the judges and saw her place bottom of the scoreboard, receiving only 13 marks from the panel.

During the judges' comments, Gemma and Dancing On Ice judge Jason Gardiner got involved in a nasty on air row as he slated her skating skills.

Tonight saw Gemma return to the ice, skating to It's All Coming Back To Me Now by Celine Dion.

While the routine looked to be going well, Gemma suffered a stumble just before and end and found herself hitting the ice face first.

Fortunately Gemma escaped without injury but was left in tears by the collapse, before the judges delivered their verdicts.

Despite the slip, Gemma scored her highest marks yet with 16.5 points from the judges compared to 13 for last weekend.

Ashley Banjo said: "I'm so gutted for you Gem but you get out what you put in. You've obviously worked hard this week and it shows."

"It's amazing when you drop the GC and you come in and apply yourself, you improve," added Jason following last weekend's on air row.

Christopher Dean concluded: "I think you proved you can improve Practice makes better. You looked like a new celebrity out there now. Unfortunately you tripped but let's move forward from here."

Alongside Gemma, the other celebs still on the Dancing On Ice 2019 line up this year include Coronation Street actress Jane Danson, Loose Women’s Saira Khan, X Factor favourite Saara Aalto, Grease legend Didi Conn and Pussycat Dolls singer Melody Thornton.

Completing this year's line up were Love Island’s Wes Nelson, Strictly Come Dancing dancer James Jordan and singer and presenter Brian McFadden.

Also competing is cricketer Ryan Sidebottom, however he didn't take part in tonight's live show due to injury, receiving a bye through to next weekend.

Dancing On Ice 2019 continues this Sunday night on ITV from 6PM.
