Shipwrecked 2019 cast revealed: Meet the contestants on this year's series

The contestants making up the Shipwrecked 2019 cast have been revealed.

The reality show, which first aired in 2000, sees a batch of castaways left on a deserted island.

It's been seven years since the series was last on TV, having spent over a decade on and off air up until 2012.

Now it's back in 2019, airing a brand new series on E4 from 9PM, Monday January 28.

Called 'Battle Of The Islands', Shipwrecked 2019 will see two tribes – Sharks and Tigers – will battle it out to win over new arrivals to their respective islands, with a £50k prize fund at stake for the largest tribe at the end of the competition.

In the opening episode, eight strangers wash up on the tropical shores of Tiger Island, deep in the heart of the South Pacific. The newly assembled group are soon joined by a ninth islander, who swaggers into camp carrying a crate of booze just in time for their first island party.

However, unbeknown to the others, he's also on a secret mission to divide the camp. Soon one tribe becomes two and the battle between the Tigers and Sharks to build the biggest tribe begins.

The ladies on the starting cast are Emma a 21-year-old English graduate from Rutland, Big T (aka Tula) a 26-year-old part-time wig maker from London, Hollie a 24-year-old social media influencer from Bromley, Kalia a 20-year-old model from Bedfordshire and Liv a 19-year-old Waitress from Manchester.

The men starting Shipwrecked in 2019 are Chris, a 24-year-old events company CEO from London, Harry a 26-year-old model from London and the world,Kush a 26-year-old recruitment manager from London, and Tom a 20-year-old student from Devon.

Vick Hope will host the new series, which airs weeknights for three weeks.

Vick said: “I’m chuffed to be voicing the all new series of Shipwrecked. I was such a fan of the show back in the day on T4, and my friends and I would be so invested in all the tribal twists and turns on Shark and Tiger Island, so it’s a real honour to get to have the first sneak peek at winter’s hottest reality show."
