Gemma Collins has promised a big new trick for her next Dancing On Ice routine.

Dancing On Ice launched on ITV last Sunday with the first six couples taking to the ice for the first time.

Although she faced some tough comments from the judges, Gemma sailed through to the next round on the public vote.

Now she and pro parnter Matt Evers are planning something special for their next skate.

Teasing a possible lift, Gemma revealed: “We’re working on our new routine and if I don’t break someone’s back I’ll be breaking the internet… Tune in.”

Meanwhile, Gemma’s close pal Jonathan Cheban has branded Dancing On Ice judge Jason Gardiner a “jerk” after his comments to her in the first live show.

Gemma’s opening performance to Crazy In Love by Beyoncé & Jayz-Z last weekend scored a total of 16 points, but Jason awarded just 2.5 marks.

He told her afterwards: “You talk a big talk but you don’t back it up. It reminded me of a French and Saunders parody. This was uncomfortable to watch. You haven’t got any technique.”

Jonathan, who met Gemma when the pair appeared on Celebrity Big Brother together, told the Mirror: “I thought Gemma was amazing. I think she stole the show, obviously, any friend of mine would steal the show. That’s how it is.

“I think [Jason]’s a jerk. I think he was a jerk to all of them but I guess that’s his job, I think it’s what he gets off on to talk to people like that.”

Reacting to the score herself during an interview on ITV’s This Morning this week, Gemma said: “You know what? Do I really care? I’m the GC babydoll!

“I’m doing it for all the curvy girls out there, who thought they couldn’t ever ice skate. I’m gonna set up and ice skating dancercise class!”

Dancing On Ice 2019 airs at 6PM on ITV on Sunday nights, hosted by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
