James had already completed a sky-high obtacle course dressed as Rudolph the reindeer in yesterday's Bushtucker Trial.
As if that wasn't enough excitement for one day, The Vamps star teamed up with Emily in the latest quest for Dingo Dollars.
"With one on the ground whilst the other flies, if you get the right flags you’ll win the prize," their rhyming instructions read.
"It’s not just your knowledge of the flags of each nation, getting them down is the real frustration.”
A number of flags were strung up on a line across a ravine, while controls had been set up on the ground, where plaques bearing the names of countries randomly appeared.
One celeb had to harness up and fly out to collect the correct flag for that country, while the other used the controls to move the line, making it easier to get the flag.
"I’m the worst person with flags, I’m not a flag kinda girl," sighed Emily.
As they both wanted a turn at flying, the duo agreed to share both roles.
"Emily’s geography wasn’t great, but her flying was better than mine so we balanced each other out," James commented afterwards.
"I need to brush up on my geography. It wasn’t something I paid attention to in class and I really wish I had now," added Emily.
James and Emily took their Dingo Dollars to the Outback Shack, where Kiosk Kev offered them a choice of jelly snakes or millionaire shortbread.
They both looked at each other and said: "Obvs the shortbread."
Kev called the camp to pose the teaser question, with Harry Redknapp reading it out. "What percentage of British people have never been on a plane?" he asked.
The group thought most people had been on a plane, so went for for 12%.
However, the correct answer was 22%, and James and Emily faced the journey back to camp empty-handed.
It is the sixth Dingo Dollar Challenge out of nine that this year's campmates have failed, giving them a success rate of just 33%.
I'm A Celebrity airs nightly at 9.00pm on ITV, followed by Extra Camp on ITV2.
