Nick Knowles is amazed that he's topped the iTunes chart while living in the I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle, describing his sudden music success as "ridiculous".

Last year, Nick released his debut album 'Every Kind Of People', which charted at a lowly 92.

However, he has recently enjoyed a huge sales boost after telling the amusing story of his rooftop jamming session with Biffy Clyro on the ITV reality show.

His cover of Bob Dylan's 'Make You Feel My Love' shot to number 1 on the iTunes Singles chart overnight, aided by a campaign started by Radio X DJ Chris Moyles.

Nick was oblivious to all this until this week, when the news was revealed in a letter he received from his family.

Since then, his sudden success had been the talk of the Australian outback.

"No 1 on the iTunes chart, I can’t get over that, it’s ridiculous," Nick commented.

"Who has put you at the top of the charts, what’s his name?" asked Harry Redknapp.

"Chris Moyles, playing one of my songs off my album which people have downloaded," explained Nick.

The Vamps star James McVey told the Bush Telegraph how the developments had put a spring in Nick's step.

"We found out last night that Nick is no1 on the iTunes chart with one of his singles," he commented. "Amazing, I’m over the moon for him.

"But some may say he’s singing more now after hearing the news."

Indeed, the DIY SOS frontman did walk up to James singing his new download hit.

"Nick’s voice has got a lot of volume to it," James observed. "I can imagine him in a pub with a piano having a laugh."

Meanwhile, Anne Hegerty revealed her latest music purchase.

"The most recent thing I bought was Portugal. The Man's ‘Feel it Still’, which I thought was an excellent song," she said.

The Governess star told how she follows music trends to keep her knowledge in tip-top shape for The Chase.

She admitted 'Make You Feel My Love' is "not a song I'm particularly crazy about", but added: "If it’s in the UK charts then I’m sure I will hear it sometime.

"I do try and keep an ear to the charts, as a quizzer you kind of have to."

I'm A Celebrity 2018 continues nightly at 9.00pm on ITV, until the grand finale on Sunday.
