Following the end of Big Brother, Rylan Clark-Neal is making a return to The X Factor.

However his new job is rather different from performing on the stage as he did in 2012.

Instead, the singer turned TV presenter will be getting on his bike to work as a delivery driver.

Rylan has teamed up with The X Factor sponsors Just Eat to add a touch of star quality to its food delivery.

He'll deliver takeaways to hungry Brits on the night of the X Factor Live Final on Sunday (2nd December).

During last year’s X Factor final Just Eat saw a record number of orders as Brits tuned in to watch Dermot O’Leary crown pop band Rak-Su as winners, while tucking into a takeaway.

In anticipation of another bumper night, Rylan has been signed up to give a helping hand to Just Eat’s restaurant partners as they prepare to deliver thousands of dishes across the nation from pizza to sushi, curry to chow mein.

Rylan will spend Sunday night work with one Just Eat restaurant partner and take to two wheels to bring tasty meals to unsuspecting food fans.

The restaurant that Rylan will be delivering for has not been named, meaning anyone who orders on Just Eat on Sunday 2nd December will be in with a chance to have their takeaway delivered by the X Factor hopeful.

Speaking on his new role, Rylan said: “I can’t wait to get out there and surprise some lucky people with their favourite takeaways. Fingers crossed I’ll make a good delivery driver, I just hope I don’t scare the life out of the people that have ordered the food. I probably will…”

Graham Corfield, UK Managing Director of Just Eat, added: “Just Eat and The X Factor are the perfect combination for Saturday and Sunday nights, bringing together great food and great entertainment.

"The weekend of the X Factor Live Final is popular for takeaways - from people ordering in as they tune in to their favourite TV show, to friends and family getting together or even people grabbing a bite to eat after a busy day of Christmas shopping - Just Eat is delivering for the nation.”

“We can’t wait to see Rylan in action, if his deliveries are anything like his performances it’ll be a big yes from us.”

For your chance to have Rylan deliver your favourite takeaway, download the Just Eat app now and place an order on 2nd December.
