Viewers chose Anne to face the challenge last night after host Dec Donnelly clarified that, for once, she wasn't ruled out on medical grounds.
Having witnessed her down a foul drink in 12 seconds during Sunday's live Trial, the campmates were optimistic she'd do well.
"Anne’s grown so much as a person since she’s been here," said Fleur East. "She’s braver and makes me think she’ll do better than we think."
Meanwhile, the Chaser herself vowed: "I’m still not crazy about critters, but I’m going to do the best I can."
Anne soon arrived at the Hellish Hospital, a gruesome medical facility infested with jungle critters and nasties.
Dec and Holly Willoughby explained that she'd simply have to search the wards and corridors of the hospital to find stars representing meals for the group.
The first was an easy one for Anne, slipping it out from underneath a serpent. "Oh, I don't mind snakes," she commented.
She retrieved the second star from a chest of drawers, but passed on another when she opened a spider-filled wardrobe.
"I’m sorry, I’m gonna bottle that one," she sighed.
Anne moved on to a medical supplies room, where she was instantly covered in creepy crawlies.
She pulled one star out of a pile of fish guts, but gave up as more critters poured on her.
"That’s it, I’ve had enough of this room, that will have to do," she said. "It's gonna get worse, isn't it?"
Next up was an operating theatre full of flapping pigeons. Anne had no problem finding her fourth and fifth stars among more rotting offal.
"I don't mind if it's just birds, they can s**t on me," she quipped.
She then discovered her sixth and seventh stars, including one inside an IV bag full of fake blood.
Searching for the final room, Anne moved a grate to discover it was a dark tunnel with a lizard inside.
Deciding it was one room too far, she ended the Trial by calling out the immortal words: "I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!"
It marked the second time she had quit a Trial, after earning just two stars at the Monstrous Monoliths.
However, she tripled her personal best score to seven meals - only four short of a full house.
The Governess was satisifed with her performance. "I said if I got seven I’d feel like that was enough," she said.
"The previous trial, I panicked and the critters were so revolting. This time I was able to keep it together a bit more.
"Having seven stars means we will get a decent meal tonight."
I'm A Celebrity 2018 continues nightly at 9.00pm on ITV, followed by Extra Camp on ITV2.
