At the weekend Nick was elected the ITV survival show's new leader in a public vote.
He immediately had to allocate roles to the other celebs, and chose to put Noel on maintenance.
Yesterday, Noel was on water duties, which involve collecting water from the creek and boiling it so it's safe for everyone to drink.
However, Nick was keeping a close eye on him, giving pointers on how to complete the job.
The DIY SOS star told him to be careful taking the lid off the boiling pot, saying: "You get crap on the underside and it makes the water taste s**t."
Noel then demonstrated his own technique, flipping the lid with his foot to keep it clear from debris.
Nick then said he should decant the water immediately, while Noel preferred to let it cool down first.
"Nick’s doing a great job reminding us of the regulations, delegating extremely well, making the right decisions," said Noel.
"All the hallmarks of a great leader."
Noel irked Nick further when he queried the camp rule that at least three people must surround the fire at all times.
"I’m equally as unexcited about the rules as you are Noel," sighed Nick.
A short while later, Nick was taking a dip in the pool and talking to Harry Redknapp, when they suddenly noticed Noel wandering past.
"Has someone gone up, are there three people up there?" asked Nick.
"Yes, we’ve got three up there," Noel responded, telling porkies.
"Who is up there then, Malique [Thompson-Dwyer] and Emily [Atack]? That’s not three," continued Nick.
"I’m not giving you a hard time because I want to give you a hard time."
Noel then debated his next move and decided to return to camp, muttering: "God forbid I get an endorsement on my celebrity licence."
Having observed the exchange, Harry told the Bush Telegraph: "Nick’s a stickler for the rules and we have to do as we are told."
I'm A Celebrity airs nightly at 9.00pm on ITV, followed by Extra Camp on ITV2.
