The former Snake Rock celebs found their first morning in the main I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! camp disorientating - although Anne Hegerty soon began to bond with John Barrowman.
After two days sleeping on the floor, the Yellow team were finally allowed to move to Croc Creek yesterday as all ten celebrities united for the first time.
They were welcomed with open arms, as some of the Red team gave up their comforts to accommodate their new campmates.
"I love my bed, I actually slept last night. John’s given me his bed and Nick’s given Anne his pillow and its lovely," revealed Fleur East. "Everyone’s so, so nice."
However, it took Anne a little while to get to grips with her new bed - as she found it so comfortable, she couldn't get out of it.
"I tried to get myself to the dunny. It took me about five minutes of just hauling myself out because it seemed to tilt the other way," she explained.
"Easier or more difficult than getting out of the beds on the ground… er, it seemed to take me longer this morning!"
Anne was amused by her ordeal, and she was eventually aided by Emily Atack, who found it endearing.
"It’s funny because when she’s struggling with something, you immediately want to help her but really she doesn’t need it all the time," The Inbetweeners star commented.
"Love her. Absolutely love her."
Meanwhile, the other Yellows were being careful not to upset the Reds' status quo.
"First night was very strange. We still feel we’re very welcome guests in a house that is not ours," said James McVey.
Rita Simons was even reluctant to involve herself when the fire burned out.
"I felt like I don’t want to impose on the way they do it," she said. "I feel like such a guest. It’s like sleeping over at someone’s house."
A short while later, Anne got to bond with John Barrowman over their mutual love of Doctor Who.
As he asked whether she has a partner, The Chase quizzer revealed how her Asperger's syndrome affects her relationship status.
"When I was working out that I was autistic, it clarified a lot of things for me," she mused.
"One of the things was, 'that’s why I never seem to be able to make it work, that’s why I always feel claustrophobic in a relationship'.
"That’s why I kind of think that’s probably not intended for me."
I'm A Celebrity 2018 airs nightly at 9.00pm on ITV, followed by Extra Camp on ITV2.
