Here's a first look at actor John Barrowman facing the latest Bushtucker trial on I'm A Celebrity 2018.

He was voted to take part in the next task by viewers in Wednesday's results.

The trial - called the Scary Rose will see John have to dive underwater to collect stars from an abandoned shipwreck.

Teasing the trial, Dec said: "It's guaranteed to leave you ship scared with a vessel packed with nautical nasties form port to starboard."

John is joined by crocs, eels and crabs in the underwater task.

You can watch a first preview of how he does in the clip above, with the full trial airing in tonight's show.

This was the first trial with all the group up for the public vote following the two camp split, although The Chase's 'The Governess' Anne Hegerty was ruled out on medical grounds.

Alongside Anne and John, also on the show currently are EastEnders actress Rita Simons, TV presenter Nick Knowles, The Inbetweeners star Emily Atack and X Factor's Fleur East.

Joining them are The Vamps singer James McVey Football manager Harry Redknapp, Coronation Street's Sair Khan and Hollyoaks actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer.

Although she was not able to take part in the new trial, Anne was voted by viewers to take part in the previous challenge.

In the trial area, Dec and Holly explained the Trial to Anne. She would be locked in a series of giant stones. Her aim was to release the two stars from two Perspex boxes within each stone within the allocated time.

There were four digit codes on the walls of the stones and they would correspond to the padlocks that sealed the Perspex boxes. Of course, this being the jungle, Anne wouldn’t be alone in the stones as she would be joined by various jungle critters.

There were ten stars to be won, each representing a meal.

However Anne won only the two stars, saying after the second round of the task: “I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here. I can’t do it. I’m so sorry.”

I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here continues at 9PM on ITV nightly.
